Lets get something straight. I love Sportscenter. From my days as a kid, getting up early before school to watch an hour before I had to get up, to today where on a sick day I can watch 4 hours of Sportscenter in a row. It never occurred to me that people might not like it. I mean what's wrong with Sportscenter? It's UnAmerican not to like it.
That's what I thought before 'The Offical ATB.com Girlfriend' weighed in on some issues. She said that Sportscenter causes headaches. She commented on how all of the hosts spoke very loud and very fast. It was just plain unpleasant for her to listen to.
It got me thinking...Is my Sportscenter, my BELOVED Sportscenter really that bad. Is it not the great institution that I once thought it was?
Is she just crazy or is there something behind her madness?

Official After the buzzer girlfriend here...a couple things...
First of all, I do not hate sports, I just can't get into em all that much. I have always done every girly sport, nothing with balls (thats what she said)
that being said, lately I have been trying to play baseball and football catch (a vocab mistake my boyfriend and roomate quickly pointed out to me)
living with boys for the last 2 years has greatly increased my enjoyment of sports (I even took em to a pistons game) but yes, it remains I do hate sports center...although Im trying to hate it less (I am even reading greeny's book)
why do guys feel the need to watch the SAME sports center over and over again?!
that being said, why do girls need to watch the same FRIENDS and sex and the city over and over again?
I guess it is the pace at which sports center moves that drives me crazy when the boyfriend has it blaring in the morning while someone (me) is trying to get some sleep. I especially cannot stand the voice of Dick Vitale and boys I will never understand how you can...
